While work in the oil fields of western Oklahoma has been going on for years, every now and then they need a little help. In this case a 7,000’ string of casing had been placed down hole without the drill rig in place. Because of an error in the placement of the casing, the entire string would need to be lifted free of the well head for the installation of casing slips. While the first thought was a pair of large cranes, Barnhart offered a faster and more economical solution to the customer using a simple hydraulic gantry. In a matter of hours, the project was completed by the team from Barnhart’s Ratliff City and Memphis branches. In the end the customer pointed out that despite his doubts…”your equipment did exactly what you said it would do”.
