Located on Presidents Island, the 40 acre waterfront facility includes two warehouses and one world-class fabrication building. However, the focal point of the site is Barnhart's 1,250 Ton Derrick Crane, aka, Ichabod. With heavy pads under hook, Icabod is capable of handling the heaviest bulk cargo the Mississippi river can offer. Cargo coming into the site has direct access to interstate and rail. In fact, the heavy lift terminal has a heavy rail lines with connections to all four Class One railways.
For customers in need of industrial warehousing and storage the Heavy Lift Terminal and Fabrication Facility has 15,000 square feet of enclosed warehousing. Warehouse One encompasses 10,000 square feet. While Warehouse Two has an ample 5,000 square feet.
The site also offers a 22,400 square foot fabrication building. The open walled facility has two 10 ton over-head cranes at a height of 45 feet. The interior ceiling is 45 feet high and has three phase power capable of supporting any welding need.
