AT THIRTY-FIVE, GROWTH DEMANDS IDENTITY CHANGE
Nov 23, 2004
Barnhart creates new identity and logo to reflect diversity of services.
From their small beginnings as a Memphis, Tennessee steel erection company, Barnhart Crane and Rigging has developed into a firm with 13 US branches and a branch in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Their expertise is now utilized through out the country and internationally. Services have expanded beyond these core services to include Nuclear Services, Heavy Civil Construction, Industrial Warehousing, and Heavy Cargo Logistics.
This new position in the marketplace called for a name change and an updated graphic statement. The company has dropped "Crane and Rigging" and will now be known simply as Barnhart. The new name and logo were recently unveiled. "We undertook an extensive and serious look at the way our company has changed. Barnhart is a very different company today. Our expansion of services, and experience throughout the nation, made it imperative that we reflect this broader platform in all forms of communication", states Alan Barnhart.
Clients are now "coming to the source" by traveling to Memphis to see first hand the services and capabilities of Barnhart. It enables them to investigate solutions that lower the total project cost with innovative solutions that can be demonstrated in the critical planning phase, rather than once a job begins. In developing the erection strategy associated with major projects the time spent with engineers from Barnhart leads to new ideas and technologies that can be the "edge" on a project.
Barnhart Crane and Rigging (www.barnhartcrane.com) is leading supplier of specialized heavy rigging and transportation solutions. Through its US network of branches, they provide a full range of crane and rigging services, project cargo logistics and heavy equipment storage at their Heavy Lift Terminal at the Port of Memphis. In addition to branches in the US, Barnhart also has a facility in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
