BARNHART CRANE & RIGGING RECIPIENT OF DISTINGUISHED INDUSTRY AWARDS

(MEMPHIS, Tenn.) The Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association (SC&RA) recently honored Memphis-based Barnhart Crane and Rigging Co. with the distinguished Rigging Job of the Year Award and the Transportation Group Fleet Safety Improvement Award. Both SC&RA awards are part of annual ceremonies by the industry to recognize the best and safest companies in the crane and rigging industry.
Barnhart was also the recipient of the Associated General Contractors Alabama chapter Safety Award for the heavy/industrial category for best safety record in 2002.

In addition to winning the Rigging Job of the Year in the $150,000 to $750,000 category for their work at Alabama's Barry Steam Plant, Barnhart was the recipient of awards for its continuous improvement in fleet safety as well as its industry leading OSHA safety statistics.
