Barnhart, Davenports team up in Houston

Expansion will expand available solutions in heavy rigging and transportation.
May 28, 2004 – A new team in Houston may be hard to beat. Barnhart Crane and Rigging announced the formation of a new operation in Houston built around fixtures of heavy rigging – the Davenport brothers. This new branch for Barnhart will rely on the leadership team of David Davenport, Dennis Davenport, Donnie Davenport, and Richard Davenport. The Davenport brothers formally were key members of the Davenport Mammoet team and more recently headed Davenport Marino.
The operation will focus on heavy rigging and heavy transportation on the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast. The initial equipment fleet will include Goldhofer trailers, prime movers, hydraulic gantries, slide systems, and Barnhart’s innovative equipment such as the Modular Lift Tower. “The Davenports are leaders in our industry and cement an atmosphere for success in the region due to their exceptional reputation.
