Barnhart Wins Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association’s Move Job of the Year

The Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association’s Job of the Year winners were announced at the organization’s Annual Conference on Saturday, April 25. There were 21 entries in the six contests.

• Moving (using specialized equipment, such as self-propelled transporters, dollies and crawler assemblies): Barnhart, Memphis, TN, for providing feasibility planning, engineering, lifting and transportation services to allow the construction of two Electrostatic Precipitator units offsite and then move them into position and set on foundations within an oil refinery in California; the design weight of the units was approximately 2,000 tons.
