127 new wind turbines had to be erected and installed in challenging conditions and terrain.
Barnhart utilized the single-blade installation method to reduce the required ground assembly area.
Barnhart was contracted by a wind farm located in Washington state to erect 127 Vestas 1.8MW V80 wind turbines in mountainous terrain. Barnhart utilized the single-blade installation method, reducing the size of the required ground assembly area. An aggressive quality assurance program allowed Barnhart's team to execute the project with virtually no errors. Doing things right the first time allowed Barnhart to finish ahead of schedule despite extremely high wind conditions and a challenging terrain and environment.
