NEW MARKET FOR BARNHART

Barnhart Crane & Rigging is expanding into Syracuse, New York with the recent acquisition of C&S Crane and Rigging Company.  C&S served industrial, commercial and public sector customers throughout upstate New York since 2008 with 15 to 200 ton cranes as well as specialized rigging equipment.

“This is an extremely positive move for both companies,” said Alan Barnhart, CEO of Barnhart.  “With this new branch we will be able to better serve our customers in this area, particularly those in renewable and nuclear energy.”

Barry Trimble, of C&S Technical Resources, Inc. will serve as Branch Manager for the new Syracuse office.  Trimble has a long history of leadership roles in crane service, rigging projects, machinery moving and transportation.

Currently, our company has 25 branches nationwide, and one of the nation’s largest equipment inventories including electronic steer Goldhofer trailers, cranes to 1,760 tons, sliding systems, strand jacks, and the Modular Lift Tower system.  Our services also include logistics, machinery moving, and plant relocations.
