Thankful: Giving Back is at the Heart of Barnhart’s Culture
As Thanksgiving approaches, we at Barnhart have much to be thankful for. Foremost, we celebrate our rich 55-year history. Who could have imagined that a company started around a kitchen table with a handful of employees would grow into a nationwide operation with over 60 branches and more than 2,000 team members? We are profoundly grateful to our clients and dedicated employees who have made this journey possible.
At Barnhart, fostering a spirit of giving isn’t limited to Thanksgiving—it’s a year-round commitment. Through our Barnhart Cares program, we empower employees to support the local causes closest to their hearts. Whether it’s building beds for homeless families, sorting food at a pantry, delivering meals to the homebound elderly or helping vulnerable teens, our employees are fully committed.
This program includes Community Cares grants, designed to assist underserved populations in our communities. Additionally, every employee receives funds to donate to the ministry or charity of their choice. To increase their impact, we match those donations for every hour they volunteer, up to 10 hours per quarter.
The response has been remarkable. A majority of our employees actively participate, giving their time and resources to make a difference in countless ways. This culture of generosity is a cornerstone of Barnhart’s mission, and we couldn’t be prouder of the positive impact our team continues to make across the country.
Here’s a few photos from some of our outreach efforts that are helping communities across the country. Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving!
