The PSTe Goldhofer is equipped with computerized electronic steering in which each axle can steer +/- 135 degrees. The trailers can be programmed for a variety of steering modes such as counter steering, diagonal steering (crab steering), carousel steering and 90° transverse steering. The various steering modes can be changed back and forth in a matter of seconds, making this trailer capable of maneuvering through even the toughest obstacle course. The PSTe trailers are all self propelled. This makes them well suited for work inside tight areas such as refineries and other industrial plants. It also eliminates the need for a separate prime mover and a prime mover operator. This will reduce mobilization cost and labor cost, which, in turn, will enable Barnhart to provide a more competitive price to our clients. The systems are available in standard, one and 1/2, and double-wide configurations.
