Barnhart was contracted to transport four massive Texas Towers from Marghera, Italy to Joliet, Illinois—a journey spanning 5,570 miles, two continents, and some of North America's most vital inland waterways.
Leveraging our international network and coast-to-coast logistics capabilities, the towers were received at the Port of New Orleans, transferred to barge, and transported 926 miles upriver through seven states and five rivers to their final destination.
From transoceanic coordination to inland navigation, this project highlights Barnhart’s ability to deliver complex cargo safely, efficiently, and on schedule—anywhere in the world.
