Tight space. Big challenge. Smarter solution.
In this Illinois project, Barnhart was tasked with removing and replacing a ball mill buried deep inside a building, without the space for a conventional gantry or the costly delays of roof removal.
While others proposed cutting into the roof and using a large crane, Barnhart engineered a cleaner approach: remove just one wall section and use a triple-wide Goldhofer PSTE platform trailer and cribbing to carefully maneuver the mill out. It was a tight squeeze, but precise planning and equipment made it possible.
